In the later half of '07 my Nissan Maxima was starting to have trouble. It finally died in mid November. It was a daily driver and my only way to get to work. I work as a consultant and have to drive 4 days a week, sometimes as far away as 200 miles. I took the opportunity to get a year end closeout deal on a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. With 0% percent financing for 60 months and a bumper to bumper warranty for 5 yrs./100,000 miles (for only $1500 extra), it made financial sense. It works well as a daily driver for my work and has enough power to pull the Mustang. I have not owned a Chevrolet since I had a '68 and '69 Camaro as a teenager. The overall quality of the vehicle surprised me. The suspension is excellent. It's probably the most surprising thing about the truck. The engine is only 325 c.i. so it won't impress you, but it gets the job done. It also tons of room under the hood to perform basic maintenance.

        Here are some pictures.

Note: Many of these pictures are very large. They make look jagged. Look for the icon that lets you view them at full size to fix that.

After the first wash but no wax.

During claying and Zaino treatment.

After Zaino is finished. Need a mirror? Too bad it has orange peel.
