Shortly after acquiring this car, it was involved in a minor accident that prompted some body work. Follow the upcoming build of this 89 State Trooper car.
These are pictures taken the weekend I got the car back to my house. As rough as the car looked from a body standpoint, the car drove extremely well! I drove it nearly 1000 miles back to my house and it got 24 mpg with 4.10 gears and a T5Z going about 65-70 mph. It fired right up every time I turned the key, ran cool, and really impressed me. It also didn't have any drivability problems like many modified mustangs do. This was probably because it had the stock mass air. The car had run as quick as 11.20s with a rebuilt 306 and a small shot of nitrous. As soon as I drove it, I fell in love. The light weight of the car makes it so much more fun to drive than the other Mustangs I have owned.
